Our work with digital tree inventories began with our longstanding client Hollywood Cemetery, in an effort to better manage their more than 2,000 trees. For years, we relied on paper records—a system that proved quite problematic if a single notebook was ever lost.
In 2017, we transitioned to a digital inventory system that created a detailed profile for every tree—complete with photographs, species data, condition notes, recommendations, and a complete work history. Within just three years, we were able to care for three times the amount of trees. That system played a key role in helping Hollywood Cemetery achieve the status of an Accredited Arboretum.
Since then, we continue to refine and customize our system, increasing its accuracy and functionality. Our system not only helps you manage your trees more efficiently, it also calculates each tree’s ecological benefits and appraisal value.
